The Costco citi credit card doesn't have an online promotion going on right now. However, if you go to costco together with your friend with a Costco member, both of you can get a referral bonus of $10 Costco Shop Card in person. You need to pay the Costco membership fee up front to use this card but you could probably get enough cash back than your membership fee in a year. Biggest is the 4% back on gas. Next is 3% back on restaurants and travels, and 2%gas back on Costco purchases.
I think gas, restaurants, and travels are the most largest spendings.

According to the Costco website,
definition of restaurants are fast food restaurants, cafes, bars and lounges world wide.
definition of travels are airflight tickets, hotel fees, rental cars, cruise lines, travel agencies, and Costco Travel.

I mainly use this card for gas, restaurants, travel expenses, and Costco.
That usually makes around $200 cash back per year. I think the majority of the use is gas though.

Sharaku is the best Japanese restaurant in the Michigan Detroit area.

The taste is really same as what you can eat in Japan. No wonder there are many Japanes customer and Japanese chef.

It is a little expensive than other places but it is worth the price.

I would recommend Jinya Ramen bar for somebody looking for a Japanese taste Ramen noodle.

It is just like the ones you can eat in Japan.

The left picture is a Spicy Umami Miso Ramen. It is like an original Ramen in Japan. The Miso flavor was a little bit spicier than the normal Japanese Ramen I think.

The right picture is the JINYA Tonkotsu Black.
This is the BEST Ramen in this restaurant. You should try JINYA Tonkotsu Black if it is your first time in this place!

I will compare how to watch Japanese TV around the world.

Japanease TVs on end of the year and beginning of the year are the best.

This is the most easiest way to watch Japanese comedy, news, or anime  programs.

It is the most cheapest monthly rate compared to the other paid programs and it costs $19.95 per month.

The 1 day trial is for free.

If you commit to 6 months then it will be $18.32 per month.
If you commit to 1 year, it will come down to $17.49 per month.

It can not be seen in real time and need to wath the recorded programs but it is diffcult to see real time anyways because of the time difference if you are out of Japan.

In that meaning, JVRental is enough.
The usual UPLOAD takes abour 24 hours but for example, the end of the year and new year special programs are uploaded in 2 to 3 hours.

I heard that Nihon Denshidai is streaming from a Chinese server.

From this link, you are able to see real time Japanease TV for free.

It is a free program so sometime you are not able to see it.
However, I know that this link is being able to see for many years now.

If you want to see Japanease TV for free, or if you just need to see it for a short period of time, or just have to see it in real time, this program might be enough.

This site costs $49.99 per month. It seems to be expensive, but it can record any TV program you like for a week, and also able to watch Japanese TV in real time. You don't need any box or anything and just need a credit card to apply to the service. This is same as JVRental, but if you pay you can watch Japanese TV instantly. It costs twice as JVRental, so honestly the price is expensive.

Tver is a free online website that each Japanese TV stations are participating officially. The best thing here is that the latest drama or TV are there for a limited time and you can watch all of them for free.

However, the most largest challenge is that this website is only able to see if you are accessing from Japan. To get around this, you have to connect to the VPN and make Tver think that you are watching from Japan.

There is also a paid VPN service and free VPN service. I think just a free VPN is OK for watching Tver. I will introduce 2 websites that you can connnect for free. Please try it out, they are both very easy to connect to VPN for free.

Hola is a Google chrome extention and it is easy to install.
However this is not so stabled and have to tryout couple of times when it drops connection.
